We are looking for a part-time Design Intern who will support the Creative Team in the creation and development of concept designs for Live Productions, Attractions, and Themed Environments.

Familiarity with and interest in entertainment design, production design, or themed entertainment is a must.

The ideal candidate has a confident, forward-thinking, proactive attitude, takes on responsibility, and follows through with it. The candidate has strong work ethics, an attentiveness to detail, as well as the ability to understand big-picture concepts. This person is comfortable self-directing, problem-solving, and managing short- or long-term projects.

 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create Key-Art Illustrations
  • Build 3D models based off rough drawings or ideas.
  • Create presentation documents in InDesign
  • Strong Illustration and rendering skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Proficiency in SketchUp Pro
  • Must show initiative, be detail-oriented, able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

The position is part-time Mon-Fri, in our Los Angeles office.

The Creative Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of three project divisions of an entertainment design company. An organized professional, with marketing experience in a creative environment. Ability to utilize company database to organize and effectively track opportunities for each division. This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing & Business Development and works in tandem to think “ahead of the curve” for each division, strategize plans, and provide opportunities to integrate the company’s creative services into various industries, in an organic way.

A positive attitude with leadership qualities who is comfortable sharing ideas, collaborating with others, and shows a willingness to help when needed to achieve shared goals. This role has significant potential for growth.

 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must have strong efficiency in carrying out tasks, providing concise and organized information / reporting to the team and Director of Marketing on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required for interactions across the company – leading & contributing in meetings, presentations and email correspondence.
  • Experience in copywriting for a creative company and social platforms.
  • Be a forward thinker to strategize and read between the lines of our industry’s opportunities.
  • Ability to generate and explore leads to ensure validity.
  • Strong ability to execute department & overall company strategies.
  • Extremely detailed oriented in maintaining division progress charts and spreadsheets.
  • Eagerness to research and find networking opportunities, events, conferences, etc. Generate opportunity reports based on these findings with notes on next steps.
  • Manages marketing department schedule for meetings and events. Liaises with company Production Manager to ensure schedule consistency across departments.

 

Education & Experience

  • Experience in Creative / Marketing field required.
  • Bachelor Degree strongly preferred.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & PowerPoint. InDesign & Photoshop a plus.
