The original NFL Experience, created in 1992 for the Minneapolis Convention Center, was a collaboration between EDC and Party Planners West. The second, also designed by EDC, was held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, in 1993.

Inspired by NFL Properties, the concept was to create a place for bringing NFL players and fans together.  The original venue has become a classic and since then, every major sports league and college sports event have created their version of the original NFL Experience.
