Entertainment Design Corporation (EDC) is an award-winning design and production entertainment firm located in Los Angeles, California.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator who will support the production and administrative operations of the office, as well as marketing efforts.

This is a great entry level position for someone who wants to someday become a Project Manager in the arena of major global themed entertainment. In addition to daily roles of assisting the production department and handling office administrative duties, there will be an opportunity to learn and grow by working directly with seasoned industry veterans in their fields. Familiarity with and interest in entertainment design, production design, or themed entertainment is a plus.

The ideal candidate has a confident, forward-thinking, proactive attitude. They are not afraid to take on responsibility and ensure that anything they take on gets done on time, and right the first time. The candidate is always looking for ways to improve upon existing systems and takes initiative to pursue those improvements. This person is comfortable self-directing, problem-solving, and managing short- or long-term projects.

This role serves as the backbone of daily operations.

Some duties include:

  • Client and vendor communications
  • Working directly with project managers to manage project deliverables, schedule, and resources
  • Setup and operation of internal and client facing meetings
  • Coordinating schedules and managing the overall office calendar
  • Marketing and business development support
  • Handling administrative duties – light bookkeeping, arranging travel, managing contacts database etc…

Some requirements include:

  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Desire to actively learn more about the themed entertainment industry
  • Requires strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in InDesign, basic knowledge of Photoshop
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD a big plus
  • Must show initiative, be detail-oriented, able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

The position is full-time Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, in Los Angeles.
